Medium Spurtle - Solid Walnut by Afoot Wood Goods
Approx. 10" x 1.5" solid walnut.
The spurtle is a 16th century Scottish kitchen tool. Originally used to stir porridge and turn oatcakes. Now used for everything in your kitchen that a spoon is too round for and a spatula is too flat for.
The AWG Spurtle is solid black walnut, handmade in Portland. The tapered, slightly curved blade stirs without leaving pools of unmixed batter in the corners. Scrapes the sides of a pot cleanly. Gets under food and flips it. Serves from the pan to the plate. It’s one tool doing five jobs, and it does all of them better than whatever it’s replacing.
Finished with food-safe hard wax oil. Made in Portland, Oregon.
