One Stripe Chai Co. began when Co-Founders Farah Jesani and Joshua Weinberg were struggling to find a chai in coffee shops that wasn't full of sugar or just plain boring. For a city like Portland that has beautiful coffees all around, there didn't seem to be an equally beautiful and hand-crafted chai to match. After 6 months of tinkering with their recipe, they finally found the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Their spicy chai concentrate is brewed in SE Portland using strong black tea and Organic spices and is sweetened with local honey and jaggery.
