They make this caramel using 100% whey from their internationally award winning herd of goats in Molalla, Oregon. This complex caramel sauce benefits from a perfectly balanced flavor profile and pairs equally well with savory and sweet products. While Cajeta is similar in nature to Dulce de Leche given its caramelization and savory characteristics, it doesn't contain the heavy fats and protein of true cooked caramel. This makes for a lighter, more flavor packed taste.
